Alicante-Elche (ALC) is a single-terminal, single-runway airport 9 km south-west of the city. Fast to arrive, easy to leave — but there's no train, so know your bus / taxi options before you land.

Getting from ALC to Alicante city

  • Bus C6: 4 €, 30 min, every 20 min from 06:00 to ~23:00. Stops: airport → Puerta del Mar (Old Town) → Luceros (main tram hub).
  • Taxi: fixed 25 € day, 30 € night/weekend, 20 min. Rank on arrival, no need to book.
  • Private transfer: useful with luggage or late arrivals.
  • Rent-a-car: desks on the ground floor arrivals side.

Getting from ALC to Benidorm / Costa Blanca

  • ALSA bus: ~13 €, 45 min to Benidorm direct. Stops at Villajoyosa on some services.
  • Taxi Benidorm: ~90 €, 50 min.
  • To Torrevieja / La Zenia: Costa Azul / QuickAirport bus. 35–50 min.

The terminal in 60 seconds

  • Single terminal, three floors: check-in (top), arrivals (ground), buses & taxis (outside ground).
  • Free Wi-Fi. Currency exchange & ATMs airside and landside.
  • Left luggage: on request at the check-in level (Consigna, next to the info desk).
  • Restaurants close by 22:00 — eat before if you land late.

Insider tips

  • Book the C6 ticket in cash — driver gives change but the queue is faster with exact fare.
  • Uber and Cabify don't operate from the airport rank — only from the "VTC" curbside further down.
  • Arriving after 23:00? Only taxi + private transfer are options.
